Parthenon: Dedicated to the famous goddess Athena Parthenos, the patron of the city, the Parthenon is the most magnificent creation of the Athenian democracy.
Acropolis Museum: The Acropolis museum is the perfect sanctuary for the ancient artefacts found in the Parthenon and its surrounding temples.
Delphi: Considered the centre of the world in the Greek culture, Delphi is best represented by the famous stone monument, known as the Omphalos of Delphi.
Meteora: Visiting the historical Meteora monasteries is a spiritual, mystical, and breathtaking experience.

What do I need to bring?
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Greece. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

Day 1 : ARRIVAL ATHENS
Arrival at Athens airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring Greece’s beautiful capital. You may optionally visit Syntagma Square and indulge in the vibe of this stunning city. Enjoy shopping in some of the most popular areas of the city, the Kolonaki or Ermou, and have a nice, quiet walk on the beautiful alleys of Plaka, the old district where you can also find a great number of small shops selling souvenirs and other local artefacts. And if you want to see a different face of the city, you have the chance to enjoy an optional night out in Athens.
Overnight in Athens
Day 2 : ATHENS – CRUISE SARONIC ISLANDS – ATHENS
Enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel and then transfer to the port to embark on the cruise ship. The vessel will sail heading towards three of the most beautiful islands of the Saronic Gulf. Visit the island of Poros, admiring enchanting views and a famous lemon forest. Then, explore the mesmerising Hydra island catching a glimpse of its interesting shape, that once served as a safe shelter for the pirates. From the deck, you will be able to admire the special architecture and dramatic landscapes of this lovely island. The old traditional stone houses and mansions that silently stood witness to a long history are sure to impress. Your last stop will be at Aegina, the largest of the three islands. Enjoy strolling its beautifully arranged streets and alleys or relax in one of the harbour’s inviting waterfront cafes while indulging in the world-famous Aegina pistachios. In the evening, return to port and get transferred back to your hotel in Athens for overnight.

Day 3 : ATHENS – DELPHI – KALAMBAKA (417 km -5.5 hrs)
After a delicious breakfast, leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Wander around spellbinding Delphi, and visit the interesting Archaeological Site (entrance to the Delphi museum not included). Afterward, depart for beautiful Kalambaka, passing through the picturesque villages and spectacular towns of Central Greece. Proceed to Kalambaka for a delightful dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : KALAMBAKA – ATHENS (355 km – 4hrs)
Indulge in a luscious breakfast at your selected hotel. Then, head towards Meteora, one of Greece’s most famous landmarks. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and get closer to the Greek glorious history and culture. Admire the ageless Monasteries, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks and containing priceless historical and religious treasures. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae. Have a short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s Monument, and arrive in Greece´s capital city early in the evening.

Day 5 : DEPARTURE ATHENS
Begin your day with a mouthwatering breakfast at your hotel, preparing to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city, during a memorable city tour. Our expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. Stop for a few moments and then continue your tour passing by the Prime Minister’s residence- the former Royal Palace, guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniform. Then, see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament, the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, University, National Library, and the lovely Constitution Square (Syntagma). Go to Acropolis to visit the Architectural Masterpieces of Athens’ Golden Age: The Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally “the harmony between material and spirit” and the monument that “puts an order in mind”- Greece’s imposing Parthenon. Last, but not least, admire the wonders of the classical era at The New Acropolis Museum. After this interesting tour, return to your hotel to pick up your luggage and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
