Itinerary
Our tour begins with a pick up at the passengers' hotels to go to Corcovado hill and see the statue of Christ the Redeemer, located at 710 meters high. Besides visiting this emblematic place, we will be in contact with nature, since Corcovado hill is located within the Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban forest in the world.
At the top of the hill, we will get a panoramic view where we'll contemplate the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the north of the city, and several of its beaches. Then we will continue to the legendary Maracana Stadium, where we can visit its Museum (optional).
Then we will make a stop at the famous Carnival Avenue, the Sambódromo, to access the Samba Museum and enter the Plaza de la Apotheosis.
We will take a break for lunch in a traditional churrascaria and then visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain, located at 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. We will go up in a glass cable car to the top, from where we will enjoy a wonderful 360° view of Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo, and its surroundings.
Before finishing, we will pass through the Historic Center of the city with stops at the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Selarón Staircase, and passing by the famous Arcs of Lapa.
After a day full of activity, we will return to the passengers' hotels.
