The tour begins with the early morning pick up at hotels in Salta.
Accompanied by professional guides and with specially equipped all-terrain vehicles, we will cross part of the Lerma Valley to go up the Cuesta del Obsipo, until reaching 3348 meters above sea level. For several kilometers, we will travel along a steep, zigzagging stretch, which allows us to get panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Continuing our journey, we will cross Los Cardones National Park, where we can appreciate the desolate desert landscapes, and also, the Tin Tin line, a completly straight line perfectly drawn by the Incas.
The next point of interest we will see is the Puente del Diablo (Devil's Bridge), where the Calchaquí River submerges, creating underground caves, of approximately 110 meters extension. Here we stop for a walk through these mysterious geological formations, which remained unexplored until a few years ago. After the walk, we will enjoy a picnic lunch.
Having recovered energies, we continue our way to the Black Rock Field of the Twin Volcanoes, and the ancient town of La Poma, located near the Nevado del Acay (5800 meters above sea level). We return to Salta around 8 pm.
