Cusco Walking Tour
Cusco city
From: US$103

Our transportation will pick you up from the hotel located in the city of Cusco to take you towards the statue of Cristo Blanco, situated on the top of the Pukamuqu hill, 3 miles away from the Plaza de Armas. Here, you will enjoy impressive and amazing panoramic views of the city.

The Cusco walking tour continues through the district of San Cristobal to take a street called 7 Borreguitos and arrive to the Colonial Aqueduct of Sapantiana, an amazing wall built between the 17th and 18th centuries.

This place has lovely fauna such as eucalyptus trees, black cherries, myrtle trees, among others. And if you are lucky, you will admire hummingbirds and other beautiful birds such as sparrows.

The walking tour of Cusco starts going to the picturesque San Blas neighborhood, an awesome artisan quarter located in the upper part of the city, with cobblestone streets and lovely houses. We will have the chance to visit workshops from local artists who settled in this place.

The tour of the city continues to the Inca walls of Hatun Rumiyoq Street. We are going to admire the famous twelve angle stone that was declared as a National Cultural Heritage Site. These walls belong to the Archbishop’s Palace, the place where the Inca Sinchi Roca has lived before.

The tour of Cusco goes on to the Plaza de Armas to appreciate the spectacular architecture and awesome historic buildings mixed with Inca sites, as well the Cusco Cathedral and the church Compañia de Jesús. Currently is the main meeting point of local and tourist people and it was declared as a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site in 1983.

The markets in Cusco are very popular, so we will keep the walk to visit the market of San Pedro. This fascinating spot has many variety of food such as cheese, fruits, herbs and spices. We will have enough time to visit each stall in this colorful place.

At the end, if you have plans for lunch we can drop you off at your selected restaurant or at your hotel.
