Pick up at your hotel to travel through Route 40 bordering the Argentino Lake, and crossing the Santa Cruz River.
We will arrive to the mountain village of El Chalten after 3 hours of travel and 220 kms of beautiful landscapes. After the Park Ranger welcome us, we will continue to where we can star the self-guided hiking trails that run from El Chalten and that lead us to the most wonderful viewpoints of the Cerro Fitz Roy or Cerro Torre.
Our trekking guide will advise us about the various options according to our physical condition. Also, maps of the enabled trails will be delivered for guidance. For lunch, we will carry a box lunch in our backpack so we can enjoy it in the middle of the road, also, depending on the climatic conditions, we can have lunch in a restaurant near the area.
If you are not sure if you are able to hike the paths on your own, don't worry, the guide will follow one of the trails, so anyone can join.
Between 3 pm and 6 pm, depending on the season of the year, we will meet the guide to start the return to El Calafate.
