At 135 metres, The London Eye is the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel, with 40 kilometre panoramic views on a clear day.

The gradual rotation in one of the 32 high-tech glass capsules takes approximately 30 minutes offering spectacular views of London and its famous landmarks such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square.

It was conceived and designed by Marks Barfield Architects and was launched in 2000.
It has won over 85 awards for national and international tourism, outstanding architectural quality and engineering achievement.

At weekends, during Bank Holidays and during school holidays the London Eye is at its most popular.
Fast Track tickets for the London Eye allow you to bypass part of the queue and get your tickets just 15 minutes before your experience.

Fast Track tickets are ideal for individuals, couples, families and groups who want to make the most of their day.

If you wish to see the 4D Experience beforehand, we recommend you arrive 30-40 minutes before your visit time.
Alternately, visit at your leisure afterwards.

The London Eye is situated on the South Bank of the river Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament and next to other top-rated London Tourist attractions. The ticket office is located inside County Hall, which is the building directly next to the London Eye.

 

By Bus

Bus number 211, 77, and 381 arrives you at the London Eye. The London Eye is on most London sightseeing bus tours and on the RV1 route that links the London Eye to other popular attractions including the Tate Modern, Covent Garden and lots more in London.

By Underground

London Eye is located within walking distance from Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster underground (tube) station. Waterloo is the nearest station.

By Car

It is highly recommended to find your parking space online before visiting the London Eye. Please note that the London Eye is located within the Congestion Charge Zone. Please make sure that you have paid the Congestion Charge.

By Boat

You can reach the London Eye via the river. There are a number of service stops at the London Pier. These include Bankside, Embankment, Blackfriars, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Hilton Docklands, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich and lots more.
