TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
“Terreiro do Paço”: is one of the most majestic squares of Lisbon and was once the main maritime entrance to Lisbon. You can still see the old marble steps leading up to Commerce Square from the River Tagus.
Alfama Disctric: the oldest and most picturesque romantic city where the ST. Jorge Castle is located, one of the most beautiful belvedere in Lisbon.
Belém Tower: Lisbon fortress tower built as a protection of the city harbour, considered the ¡symbol of the country, as many voyages started from here during the Age of Discovery

Day 1 : ARRIVAL LISBON
Upon your arrival at Lisbon airport, you will be met at the exit of the arrivals hall by an English speaking driver who will take you to your hotel in the city. Check-in to your hotel. If you feel tired after the flight, you can relax and make use of all the available services at the hotel. But if you are enthusiastic to explore this awesome city, stroll down its charming streets and get closer into its unique vibe and culture.

Day 2 : LISBON: CITY TOUR
Begin the day with a tasty breakfast at your hotel and get ready for your half-day Lisbon tour. Tour starts at 9:00 am in the morning from Marquês de Pombal square (please make your own arrangements to arrive at the Marquês de Pombal square at least 15 minutes in advance). Visit the Jerónimos Monastery (entrance not included) gem of the Portuguese wealth and power during the Age of discovery and see the impressive architecture of the spectacular Belém Tower situated on the bank of the river Tagus. Get a deeper insight into this rich Portuguese history admiring the Monument to the Discoveries and a city walk between the colourful old-fashioned walls of Alfama and Rossio district will take you back in time to learn about the history of these villages inside the city. After this fulfilling 4 hour tour, get back to the hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 3 : LISBON
Wake up to your breakfast at the hotel and enjoy the full day at leisure at this delightful city. Take a walk to the port, and enjoy the lovely views over the Tagus River. Perhaps inspire your gastronomic senses by trying some of the local dishes or just walk down the cozy streets and absorb the romantic spirit of this town. Don’t miss the chance to get closer to the Lisbon heritage by listening to some Fado, the traditional Portuguese song, in one of the local restaurants or bars.

Day 4 : LISBON – SINTRA – LISBON (70 Km – 1.5 hrs)
Start your day with a tasty breakfast at the hotel and enjoy whole morning at leisure, before you follow another Portuguese experience, half day guided tour to Sintra, royal town and UNESCO World Heritage. The tour starts at 14:30 from Marquês de Pombal square (please make your own arrangements to arrive to the Marquês de Pombal square, 15 min in advance). Sintra is settled on top of mountains, surrounded by a luxuriant forest that grows in this microclimatic region. You will explore mysterious palaces and castles, hidden in a mist that creates very unique and mystic atmosphere. Enjoy a walk in the narrow streets that surround the National Palace of Sintra – where the Portuguese royalty of the 15th and 16th centuries used to spend the summer months. Once back in Lisbon (approx. at 19:00) enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps inspire your gastronomic senses by trying some of the local dishes or just walk down the cosy streets and absorb the romantic spirit of this town.

Day 5 : LISBON
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and continue with your cultural insight into Lisbon heritage. We invite you to book our optional full-day sightseeing tour that will take you to explore the surrounding spots of this region, Óbidos, Nazaré, Batalha and Fatima (not included; optional extra). Óbidos, a city that commands a vast sweep of countryside consisting of green valleys and heights topped with a picturesque windmill, has managed to keep its proud medieval character through the ages. Continue to Fátima, one of the most important catholic shrines in the world dedicated to the Virgin Mary and admire the Batalha monastery, which was signed to UNESCO World Heritage. Tour departs daily at 9:00 am from Marquês de Pombal Square, please make your own arrangements to arrive at Marquês de Pombal Square 15 minutes in advance.

Day 6 : DEPARTURE LISBON
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the hotel and at agreed time you will be picked up by the driver at the hotel reception and taken to the Airport.

What do I need to bring?
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in South Africa. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

Day 1 : ARRIVAL CAPE TOWN
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where you will meet your driver-guide, who will transfer you to your hotel and assist with the check-in procedure. If you’re feeling knackered after the flight, you can stay in the hotel to put your feet up and make the most of the available services. But if you’re itching to start exploring this fascinating city, then hit the streets and make your own way towards those tourist attractions, restaurants or shops. Perhaps visit the city centre with its many historical buildings and different architectural style and maybe enjoy a trip with the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is also worth a visit. Here you will find numerous bars, restaurants, boutiques and shops, cinemas and the aquarium. Outside the amphitheater, there is regular live entertainment for you to enjoy. (Activities are recommendations only, not included).

Day 2 : CAPE TOWN
After a leisurely breakfast, explore the beautifully arranged streets of Cape Town on foot. The City Bowl is a good place to start in order to experience the town’s galleries and exhibitions, such as AVA, the Association for Visual Arts, which supports young talent. Enjoy an art walk consisting of visits to Gallery MOMO, well-known for its sculptures and abstract mega installations. Continue to Gallery F, the perfect place to admire great photography and art collections. The South Africa National Gallery is a true highlight and the end of the official art walk. After the tour, enjoy some leisure time and go gallery hopping on your own on Loop Street. When you feel tired, head back to your hotel.

Day 3 : CAPE TOWN – WINELANDS – CAPE TOWN (100km – 8 hr)
Start the day with a delicious breakfast, followed by a visit to Oude Libertas, located in Stellenbosch. The Art Gallery at Oude Libertas offers both aspiring and established artists a platform to showcase their work. After exploring the inspiring art gallery, savour a delicious wine tasting. Continue your art hunting in Stellenbosch’s town centre, walking along Stellenbosch’s Dorpstraat, where some leisure time will give you the chance to discover first-class galleries on your own. Then, proceed to Spier Wine Estate, one of the finest wineries in the Cape, as well as the host of one of the most extensive contemporary art collections in the country. From the farm’s public spaces to displays in the manor house, hotel and wine tasting centre, the Spier Wine Estate has much to offer its visitors. And art is as much part of Spier as good food and fine wine. The works of art are rotated every year to give exposure to as many artists as possible, and to keep the spaces fresh for visitors. Spier cellar is both functional and beautiful, and it provides an excellent wine tasting experience combined with a cold cut and cheese platter for an early dinner. Wine tasting, cold cut and cheese platter are included.

Day 4 : CAPE TOWN – MUIZENBERG – CAPE TOWN (100km – 8 hr)
Have a tasty breakfast at the hotel. Then, visit the home and studio of Irma Stern, a renowned South African painter. Here you can enjoy the permanent collection of her art and artefacts acquired during her extensive travels through Europe and Africa. Depart southwards to Muizenberg where you can marvel at a symbiosis of architectural art and art exhibition at Casa Labia. Then enjoy a light lunch before continuing to Kalk Bay, where you will find interesting galleries along the town´s main road. Afterwards, visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, perhaps one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world. The site is not just home to one of the world’s six floral kingdoms, but also covers an exclusive sculpture garden. Take a walk and admire these art pieces before you return to Cape Town. In the evening, become an artist yourself! Besides providing you with incredible South African culinary delights, Golden Restaurant gives you the chance to learn how to use the drums during an African drumming session. Light lunch and dinner are included.

Day 5 : DEPART CAPE TOWN
Begin your last day in Cape Town with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Spend some time at leisure before your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the airport. Have a safe journey!
