What do I need to bring?
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Mexico. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

Day 1 : ARRIVAL MEXICO CITY
Upon arrival at Mexico City International Airport, a Destination Services team member meets you to take you to the vehicle that will transfer you to your hotel in downtown Mexico City.

Day 2 : MEXICO CITY
Start the day with a nice breakfast at the hotel, followed by a city tour of Mexico City, including the ‘Zocalo’ – the city’s main square – the Cathedral, the Government Palace, which features murals by famous artist Diego Rivera, Reforma Avenue and the Chapultepec area, which houses one of the largest city parks in the Americas. Afterwards, we visit the impressive Aztec room in the Anthropological Museum, after that you will be dropped off at your hotel, to enjoy a lovely afternoon at leisure.

Day 3 : MEXICO CITY – TEOTIHUACAN PYRAMIDS (100km – 3 hrs)
Begin your third day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then a transfer will wait for you to visit the Teotihuacan archaeological site – ‘the place where the gods were created’ – including the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Avenue of the Dead, and the Quetzalcoatl temple. Find out more about the life of the ancient Aztecs while learning about the use of obsidian and maguey. On the way back to Mexico City, we stop for a visit to the Guadalupe Shrine, revered Patron of Mexico, whose old temple was constructed in the early 18th century in reverence to the Virgin Mary, after this experience, you will be left at your hotel.

Day 4 : MEXICO CITY – CUERNAVACA – TAXCO (180km – 3.5 hrs)
After a tasty breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you to depart for the city of Cuernavaca, known as ‘city of eternal spring’, to see the town’s colonial centre. Admire its beautiful cathedral and the fortress-like palace of Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes. Then, head towards the fertile Morelos valley, arriving into the Sierra Madre Occidental where hidden away, is the charming town of Taxco, the famous silver city and pearl of colonial Mexican art. Enjoy a visit to the city and check into your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 5 : TAXCO – ACAPULCO (245km – 4 hrs)
Begin the day with a tasty breakfast at the hotel. Then, we depart Taxco, making our way to the delightful beach resort town of Acapulco after passing through the scenic mountains of the Sierra Madre. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 6 : ACAPULCO
Have a rich breakfast at the hotel and get ready to enjoy two full days at leisure. Perhaps relax on the sandy beaches, sip on delicious cocktails or or join one of our optional excursions!Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city of Acapulco highlights followed by the famous cliff diving show in “La Quebrada” this optional 4-hour excursion, start picking you up at the hotel and you will enjoy the most interesting points of Acapulco. Travel across the Miguel Alemán coastal avenue and continue along the panoramic road, which offers excellent panoramic views of the Acapulco bays. Visit the three tourist areas of the port, as well as the Acapulco diamond, where you can learn about the new developments of Acapulco We continue with the visit to the traditional Acapulco, recently remodeled area. We will visit a store of handicrafts where you can find typical memories of the location, gold, silver and precious stones, while enjoying a refreshing drink or using the sanitary facilities. We finish the tour in “La Quebrada” and admire the international cliff diving show. After this incredible excursion, return to the hotel. You can also join only the famous diving show of La “Quebrada”, which begins by picking you up at the hotel and then you will go to “La Quebrada” to enjoy the famous diving show, at the end back to the hotel where this optional 3-hour tour ends!

Day 7 : ACAPULCO
Have breakfast at the hotel, preparing to explore the surroundings on your own. Wander around the beautifully arranged streets of Acapulco, browse its charming shops, and indulge in the delicious food served at the inviting restaurants. If walking is not your cup of tea, relax on the sandy beaches while admiring the mesmerising views and sipping on delicious local drinks or you can enjoy a catamaran excursion through the Bay of Santa Lucia with drink and live music. This optional tour starts in the afternoon, picking you up at the hotel to transfer you to the catamaran where a great ride awaits you in the only catamaran that Acapulco has, admire our beautiful bay and its surroundings while enjoying a drink and dancing. After approximately 7 pm, return to the hotel (This tour is not included) .

Day 8 : DEPART ACAPULCO
Have breakfast at the hotel and, at the convenient time, check out and transfer to Acapulco International Airport for your departure flight back home.
