Hamilton, the best musical in London

Hamilton is a musical production that tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s Founding Fathers. He was an immigrant from the West Indies who played a key role as George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War. Hamilton’s contribution helped to shape the very foundations of America as we know it today. The musical score is a unique blend of various genres, such as hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, which come together to represent America’s story as it was then, retold by America now.

The musical production was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who is credited with the book, music and lyrics. The production is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. The idea for the musical was inspired by Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Hamilton has received numerous awards and accolades, including 11 Tony Awards, 7 Olivier Awards, the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. These awards are a testament to the production’s incredible success and the way it has captured the hearts and imaginations of audiences all over the world.
