Siena: visit one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Italy, honouring the Gothic architecture with its one of a kind main square, Piazza del Campo.
Montepulciano: join the Nobile Wine tasting, one of the oldest and most prestigious wines of the Tuscany, home to the best grapes of the region.
Chianti Area: a unique landscape, which has always been considered the heart of Tuscany, and which is famous all over the world for its renowned wines.

Please note
- On day 1, the pick-up point will be at Destination Italia Sightseeing office in Viale Dei Bastioni di Michelangelo 21, Rome at 08:00 am. Please arrive at the mentioned meeting point at least 15 minutes earlier
- On day 2, in the event of rough sea, the visit to Cinque Terre will be done by train or bus
- On day 4, the drop-off in Rome in the late afternoon at Viale Washington, or Viale Luigi Einaudi, or Termini Station Area, or Via Ludovisi
- The maximum group size for this tour is 18 people
- The local guide will only accompany during the activity and not during transport
- Only one bag per person allowed (any size) plus one hand luggage (30kg in total). In case of any extra suitcases, these will have to be communicated in advance before the start of the tour. An additional supplement will be applied for each additional suitcase on the spot
- Please note that local conditions prevalent at the time of travel may result in modifications to the contents of the tour without prior notice, including a possible change of hotels and/or itinerary

Day 1 : ROMA – PISA – LUCCA – LA SPEZIA
Meet your tour leader at the Destination Italia Sightseeing office on Viale Dei Bastioni di Michelangelo 21, Rome at 08:00 am, centrally located a few steps from the Vatican City. (We kindly ask you to arrive at the mentioned meeting point at least 15 minutes earlier). The tour bus will depart to Pisa. Upon arrival, the tour leader will take you to the visit of the city of the Leaning Tower, a unique work of architectural art situated in Piazza Dei Miracoli. Afterwards, the tour leader will join you to visit Lucca, one of the most beautiful spots in Tuscany, also known as the “city of a hundred churches” due to the huge amount of places of worship in the old town centre. In the afternoon, the bus will take you to La Spezia, for check-in at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy welcome dinner in a local restaurant (included).

Day 2 : LA SPEZIA – CINQUE TERRE – SIENA
Charge your batteries with breakfast at the hotel, before check-out and bus departure to the port of La Spezia, from where the tour will start the boat excursion to the Cinque Terre, one of the most unspoilt areas of Italy and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Arrival by boat at Porto Venere and proceed to Vernazza and Monterosso, the biggest and oldest Cinque Terre village, divided into two parts: the old town, and the new town. In the afternoon, the tour will return to La Spezia by train to board the bus to Siena area, to check-in and wrap the day up with dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 : SIENA – GAIOLE IN CHIANTI – RADDA IN CHIANTI – GREVE IN CHIANTI – SAN CASCIANO IN VAL DI PESA – SAN GIMIGNANO
Wake up to breakfast at the hotel and departure by bus to discover the wonderful Chianti area with our tour leader. You will enjoy time at leisure in Gaiole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Greve in Chianti. The tour will then continue to San Gimignano, with a stop near San Casciano in Val di Pesa for a wine tasting in an enchanting local winery along the way. Upon arrival in San Gimignano, join the tour leader to visit the old town centre of this medieval town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A second wine tasting will be the best way to end the day. In the afternoon, the bus will return to the hotel, where you’ll end the day with dinner.

Day 4 : SIENA – MONTEPULCIANO – ROME
In the morning, enjoy one last breakfast, and join the guided tour of the old town centre of Siena, a medieval city built around Piazza del Campo, famous all over the world for its architectural beauty and unique “shell” shape. Afterwards, the tour leader will take you to Montepulciano to taste ‘Nobile’ wine, one of the oldest and finest wines of Tuscany. Immediately after, the tour will depart to Rome, where you’ll be dropped off in the late afternoon at Viale Washington, or Viale Luigi Einaudi, or Termini Station Area, or Via Ludovisi. From here you may continue with your travel arrangements.
