Day 1 : ROME – NAPLES – POMPEII – SORRENTO
Meet your tour leader at the Destination Italia Sightseeing office on Viale Dei Bastioni di Michelangelo 21, Rome at 07:30 am, centrally located a few steps from the Vatican City (we kindly ask you to arrive at the mentioned meeting point at least 15 minutes earlier). The tour will departure to Naples. Upon arrival, walk around the city centre, discovering Piazza del Plebisicito, Palazzo Reale, Galleria Umberto I and Teatro San Carlo. Afterwards, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant to taste authentic Neapolitan pizza (included). The tour will continue to Pompeii for the guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. Enjoy a stop in a cameos and coral shop. In the afternoon, heading to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town centre and characteristic fisherman’s village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city. Day 2 : SORRENTO – CAPRI – SORRENTO
Charge your batteries with breakfast at the hotel, before departure at 7:30 am to the port of Sorrento on the bus tour. Meet the guide and sail to Capri by hydrofoil. After arriving at the island, enjoy a boat trip to the Blue Grotto (weather permitting). Continue by minibus to Anacapri and have lunch at a local restaurant (included). Then reach the legendary Piazzetta, the heart of the island. In the afternoon, the tour will return to the port to head back to Sorrento. In the evening, enjoy a tasty dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 : SORRENTO – POSITANO – AMALFI – SALERNO AREA
In the morning, enjoy breakfast at your hotel, before checking out. Shortly after, the tour will departure to the Salerno area by bus. En route stop in Positano and Amalfi and spend time at leisure to discover these two pearls of the Amalfi Coast. In the afternoon, you will proceed with check-in at the reception. In the evening, finish this wonderful day with dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 : SALERNO AREA – MATERA – ALBEROBELLO
Wake up to breakfast at the hotel, and hop on the bus to Matera. Upon arrival, join the guided tour of the City of Stones, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the early afternoon, the tour will continue to Alberobello to taste the local olive oil from Puglia in the stunning village, known throughout the world for its famous ‘trulli’ (dry stone huts). Day 5 : ALBEROBELLO – LECCE – OSTUNI – ALBEROBELLO
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and morning departure for a trip to Lecce and Ostuni. First stop in beautiful Lecce, with a guided tour to discover the pearl of Puglia’s baroque architecture. The tour will proceed to Ostuni, also known as the White City because of its characteristic old town centre, once completely whitewashed. Upon arrival, a enjoy an unforgettable ride in an Ape Calessino, a typical three-wheel vehicle. In the afternoon, the tour will return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6 : ALBEROBELLO – BARI – BENEVENTO – ROME

Then the tour will continue to Benevento, with a stop at the factory where the famous Strega liqueur is produced.
