Day 1 : ARRIVAL SINGAPORE
Upon landing at Singapore Airport, you will be met at the airport by a tour representative. The agent will then guide you to the transportation service that transfers you to your hotel. Once there, check in and spend the rest of this first day at your leisure. You can either hang around the hotel to put up your feet after your flight or hit the streets to start becoming acquainted with the fascinating city of Singapore; the choice is yours. However, save some energy for the urban adventure you’ll be going on the following day! Overnight in Singapore.
Day 2 : SINGAPORE
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel at 09:00 and set out on a gourmet journey through the many cultural districts of Singapore. As the saying goes, the best way to know a culture is to do things the local way and be where the locals are. Accordingly, this tour invites you to explore the city the way most locals do: by riding buses and trains! Kick off the day in a modest food centre and wet market, home to some seriously dedicated hawkers who, more often than not, have inherited their stalls from past generations. The visits will delight your palate with mouth-watering famous local delicacies. Proceed to Little India where you get to savour some samples of the world-famous tongue-tingling Indian cuisine. Then hop aboard a bus and travel to the local Malay quarter, Kampong Glam. Here, you will sip a cup of rich, frothy Teh Tarik as you learn about the history of this Muslim neighbourhood turned hipster paradise in the last few decades. Lastly, depart to Chinatown by MTR to satisfy your sweet tooth with a refreshing surprise at the award-winning Mei Heong Yuen Dessert Bar in Chinatown. With the harmonious coexistence of Singaporeans hailing from various origins, the melding of this tiny country’s rich array of cuisines positions her on the bleeding edge of the culinary scene. The tour will end around 12:30 and you will transfer to the hotel by private car. After the tour, the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the city however you prefer. Breakfast included on this day. Overnight in Singapore.
Day 3 : SINGAPORE
You will have today at your own leisure. You may want to opt in to exploring the city the best way possible and cycling around the streets with a local. Departing from your hotel at 08:30 – This fascinating tour will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the beginning of the 20th century. Trace the footsteps of Tan Ah Huat, a Chinese immigrant who came to Singapore searching for a better life, by cycling tour around town. You will be accompanied by a talented storyteller who will help bring Tan Ah Huat’s tale to life as you pedal together from site to site. Watch the jigsaw pieces of this admirable man’s life gradually click together as this truly immersive experience takes you to several landmarks, monuments and heritage sites. Along the way, you will learn a series of fun facts and historical titbits with the aid of multimedia slideshows. This tour also includes a straw hat and two bottles of water per person. You should finish this tour around 12.15. (Tour not included in price). Breakfast included on this day. Overnight in Singapore.
Day 4 : DEPARTURE SINGAPORE
Wake up to charge your batteries with breakfast at the hotel before setting out to further explore the city of Singapore at your own rhythm. Enjoy your free time by doing all the things you want to do – be it shopping, visiting more sites or simply relaxing – before you’re transferred from the hotel back to the airport, where you will catch your flight to your following destination.
