Do not miss the opportunity to discover the breath-taking landscape that inhabits the stories of Odysseus, St Paul and Benedictines. Also, keep an eye out for the fun and playful Mediterranean monk seal. In the heart of the pine-clad island there is a national park, a magnificent natural landscape with two shimmering lakes in its centre. Further down the Mljet Strait, you’ll eventually come to the Elaphiti Archipelago, a highly photogenic group of 14 islands and islets all huddled together upon the waves.
